A sublime defense against Australia, the winner of the Tri Nations last month, and an attack with constant support. Every player gave it all for the team, shoulder to shoulder effort...
Unrecognizable team compared to their first game. And by winning they probably sent Australia in quarter final against South Africa on October 8/9...!
And to make the day even greater, on the Montreal Irish home field (beer on tap sold all day...), the three Montreal Irish teams won their semi-finals, all advancing to the Quebec finals, which will be played on their home field in Ste Julie. If you live in Montreal, a day at the Ste Julie field on September 24 should be a must. If not, have a guiness or a Smithwick on us...!
