France won all their line-outs! And... pressed hard the first 10 minutes. Then they made one interception to score a try.
The rest of the game was all New Zealand... In the first half France missed four tackles, and NZ scored immediately four tries.
If New Zealand can duplicate these attacks, they will be in the final for sure...
France will probably lose in the quarter finals to England and Wilkinson kicks, like in the last two world cups.
Watch Canada Japan this Tuesday morning 00.am in Montreal, and France Tonga Saturday October 1. Because... if France lose to Tonga and Canada beats Japan (both possible...), then who knows whom might go with NZ into the quarter finals...!
In the semi-final anyway, New Zealand will beat England to the biggest pleasure of the local fans.

Now today, the best games were played this afternoon on the Montreal Irish field at Ste Julie: all 8 Quebec finals were held all day on two fields, and all games were close until the last minute! Clouds were hiding the sun but the temperature was around 26 deg C this afternoon and the Labatt blues were disapearing faster than you could catch the mosquitoes, so happy to get so much fresh food... I killed over 100 during the 6 hours I was there, give or take a few dozens!
A fantastic day of rugby with a crowd never seen I believe in Quebec finals.
