Rugby - Referee

.
Thanks to Roy for this joke... which I kind of adapted...

A South African arrives at the Paradise. St Peter asks him:
- Sir, the rules have changed. To be admitted in the Paradise now, you must indicate to me one act of courage you did in your life on Earth...
- Well St Peter, as you know I am a rugby referee. And so when I was referring a game in New Zealand between New Zealand and France, a Frenchman scored a try right against the corner pole. I was convinced he scored, although the 50,000 fans in the stadium started to boo... so in all fairness and against the 50,000 boos, I awarded the try without even asking for the TV referee...
- Well said St Peter, I must agree this was an act of courage, you may come in... When did that happen by the way?
- About five minutes ago...

In fact it is only a joke! Might not be a joke in soccer or in other sports... but rugby is the sport among all where the referee is the most respected for his decisions. As Clive and some of us tell the players before the game,
"If you promise to respect the rules 100%, we promise we will not make any judgement mistake...!".

All the best for the two referees of the bronze medal Friday morning and of the gold medal Sunday morning.
